Exciting News

Ok not sure how many people read xanga anymore...but I figured I'd post my exciting news on here just in case ... Ok so my news is that I am moving to Rockford, IL on Aug 18th. I am really excited about this next season of my life...God has done so many great things this past year and I am very excited to see what he has in store for this season! God is good!! So that's all I have to say!

Let's Recap

Ok so it's been about a month since I have done anything on Xanga but all I feel motivated to do is post pictures...it takes less thinking on my part rather than typing up some long thing about what I've been doing lately, and let's be honest...reading a long paragraph can be really boring and picture's are way easier and more fun to look at! Ok so here's a few pics from the last few weeks........

My sister, niece,and I next door at the neighbor's house for my Brother in Law's going away party (went out of  the country for work). The funny thing is that the guy my sister married happened to be our next door neighbor's grandson so it makes family get together's very convenient!!

So I look a little rough in this picture but OH WELL!! haha This is from this weekend. This is my friend Alejandro who came to my house and surprised me on Friday night!

Me and one of my favorite friends from highschool -Capri, we haven't seen each other since graduation - 3 years ago and needless to say it was so great being able to spend time with her and catch up! (Again, I look a little rough, to my defense I do believe I was starting to laugh when this picture was taken!)

And here are my three friends that I spent Friday night with - Capri, Alejandro, and Rachel (who had just gotten off work at the hospital, just to clarify in case anyone might have thought that she normally wears shirts sporting Mickey Mouse! haha)

EASTER

So this weekend was Easter and I was able to go home finally for the first time in almost 2 months! It was wonderful. I got to do alot of fun stuff - I was able to go  to my nephews birthday party, I went dancing for the first time ever with my friend MB and met up w/ my old best friends from Highschool- can I just say that salsa dancing can be harder than it looks! haha, I got to see one of my favorite people ever...Rich Wolter, I ate some awesome homecooking, got to see some dear friends that still live in rockford, and I was able to go to an awesome Easter service at RFA! So in a nutshell it was a wonderful weekend. Well thats all I have for now-

A picture of almost all of my first year class... sadly, we were missing some people. But everyone from my first year class are all incredible men and women of God and I am so glad I was able to spend a year with them!

Ok so those are from the MCA Retreat and then these last few were from this past weekend with my friends in Decatur....we decided to go to Naperville on Saturday and spend the day there and go to Dave and Buster's and to Giordano's for some awesome pizza and then to Jamba juice for smoothies (thanks to me and Amy's begging! lol)

And that's mine and Amy's choice- That's Champion Bear, he's a carebear...isnt he cute!! Of course "Champion" Bear wasnt manly enough for the guys so they named him "Cliff" lol And gave him the hat.
